High Pressure Cleaning of Roofs
This is a similar process to flooring. We have adapted our rotory washers to be used on roofs as well in the same way as you would use it on the ground. One particular area we excel in is metal roof cleaning. With the process we use it works better than anything on the market.- we completed 47,000 square metres of roof in 8 days.
- Gutters cleaned and quality gutter guards fitted (optional)
- Roofs look like new
- Once roofs have been cleaned we then spray an anti mould treatment to finish it off completely.

Chemical Cleaning of Roofs
It is not always possible / practical for us to physically get onto a roof with our Rotory Washer and clean. In these cases we use a Chemical Cleaning Solution.
This is a simple process of applying a cleaning agent to the roof and giving it a short amount of time to react with the build up on the roof. Once this is done the agent is washed off with water leaving a clean finish.

Pricing Guide
It is very hard to give an accurate estimate on roof cleaning without seeing the property first. There are many items that vary the cost of this including; the pitch of roof, the size of the roof, the danger level of the clean & waste water removal.
Prices start @-$1.70 per metre square plus gst for metal and concrete tile roofing.
Terracotta roofing starts from $4 per m2 plus gst.
There is a minimum cost of $200 for a roof clean due to the setup time involved.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Rotory over Wand?
There are many reasons for this. A few are noted below.
- The rotory washer uses the same amount of water as a Wand but cleans literally 3 times faster, as it cleans 20 inches as opposed to the 5 inches of the wand. So basically if you were to clean a 200m2 roof with a Wand only it would take roughly 3 hours. Multiply that 3 hours by the litres per minute that the pressure cleaner produces, say for instance 30 litres per minute, thats 5400 litres of water used for the roof clean. With a rotory washer that same process done can be done in one hour, that’s 1300 litres used to clean the roof and the roof is cleaned better.
- When you use a wand it leaves minute amounts of grime behind, and when the surface you are cleaning is wet,it is very hard to tell if its done properly until it is completely dry.
- A wand also has a tendancy to leave a zebra sort of effect when dry. With the use of the rotory washer you don’t get that zebra effect.
Why would I have my Roof Pressure Cleaned?
Pressure Cleaning Roofs is important to the life of the paint,i.e. how long it will stay on the roof. Our processes will ensure cleanliness to the highest degree before the sealers and paints are applied.
Do you use the Rotory method on all types of Roofs?
The same processes are used on all material roofs,i.e. iron-colourbond-cement concrete tiles, only material we don’t use the rotory washer on is terracotta roofs.
Why are Terracotta Roofs different?
Terracotta roofs need a special process to clean them. They have what is known as “lichen” growing on them, which is difficult to remove. To combat this we spray the roof with an algicide to kill the lichen so it releases its grip on the terracotta roof so it can be pressure cleaned off.
